2002-05-22 -- Ericsson AB use GPS sync equipment from IMSOC in order to connect MSC's in a synchronized network. The Skellefteå site lab is working towards the Japanese market and their PDC mobile network.

2002-05-10 -- With the easily installable bubble segmentation tool IMSOC enhances National Instruments IMAQ toolbox for image analysis. The segmentation of bubble images is a unique problem and not easily solved. However, with the new tool this problem and similar problems has its solution.

2002-01-15 -- With an agreement reached with one of Sweden's leading manufacturers of electronic circuit boards, IMSOC is proud to announce that the CBVIS has reached Beta testing.

2001-03-05 -- HUT is performing research on the mineral froth flotation process within a European union project named the ChaCo project (ESPRIT LTR Project N° 24931). The research is performed at the Outokumpu - Pyhäsalmi zinc concentrator in Finland. The objectives are to find if it's possible to describe the froths physical aspects by its appearance. In order to do so HUT has purchased an image analysis system from IMSOC.
